Mrs. Alice Grimes is certified by test to teach ballet, tap, and jazz through Dance Masters of America. She is also certified in Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique. Mrs. Alice has been teaching her love of dance to all ages at LB Legacy Dance Centre since 1991. She credits “Mrs. Lorna” for teaching her the quality of training in a disciplined atmosphere that not only produces excellent dancers, but self-confidence and poise. She has learned from many renowned teachers, performed across the nation, and choreographed many routines. Mrs. Alice is married with 2 children!

Mrs. Carlee Bland began assisting in 2016 and became certified to teach ballet and jazz through Dance Masters of America in 2019. She is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and has choreographed numerous routines for dancers. She has experience stage managing from her time traveling the U.S. with Legacy Dance Championships, grew up competing, and held officer roles for her high school drill team. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and holds a bachelor's degree in hospitality management!

Mrs. Kaydance Waguespack began assisting in 2018 and became certified to teach ballet and jazz through Dance Masters of America Chapter in 2022. She is Acrobatic Arts certified and also served as varsity cheer captain at Orangefield High School. Mrs. Kaydance is a kindergarten teacher at Orangefield Elementary and hold a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She grew up performing and competing, now she choreographs for both soloists and group routines!

Ms. Kristi Porter has been teaching dance since 2007! She has a Bachelor of Science in Dance from Lamar University and is a Degreed member of Dance Masters of America. She is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique. Ms. Kristi was a member of Lamar University Dance Team for 2 years, the Lamar Dance Company for 4 years, and has experience choreographing many types of routines for soloists and groups. She is a proud mom to 3 boys!

Ms. Breahna Burrows began assisting in 2018 and became certified in ballet and jazz  through Dance Masters of America Chapter in 2025. Ms. Breahna is a former lieutenant of the LCM high school drill team and has experience choreographing. She also competed with Legacy Dance Company from 2022-2023. She is currently pursuing a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Lamar University!

Mrs. Mallory Blanton has been teaching dance since 2011! She is certified to teach ballet, tap, and jazz through Dance Masters of America. She has been teaching for the LCM school district since 2016 and is a 6th grade history teacher at Little Cypress Junior High. She also serves at the LCJH Cheer coach. Mrs. Mallory is married with one daughter!

Ms. Janel Campbell has been teaching dance since 1985! She is certified in ballet and jazz through Dance Masters of America. Ms. Janel is a mom of 3 with 7 grandchildren and many others (we love our studio kiddos!) She has traveled and learned from many world-renowned dancers and also taught several students who have gone on to perform on Broadway or have careers in performing arts!

Ms. Danielle Oliver has been teaching dance since 2005! She is certified by test to teach ballet and jazz through Dance Masters of America. Ms. Danielle has a little girl and is also a Registered Nurse who works in labor and delivery!

Ms. MiKayla Robnett began assisting in 2016 and teaching hip-hop classes in 2018. She grew up performing, competing, and was a cheerleader at Orangefield High School. In 2023, she focused on school and graduated with her Certification in Dental Assisting. We are excited to welcome her back for Season 48! Ms. MiKayla currently works as a Registered Dental Assistant in General Dentistry.

Ms. Carol Puckett is our office manager and the first one you see when entering the studio! She is retired from Christus Health, has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She looks forward to seeing the students and hearing about their day. We also thank her for being the on-hand seamstress who saves the day!
